Do we need to do strategy first?+
Strongly recommended, but not required. If you have a positioning doc you trust, we can build identity off it. If you don’t, we’ll surface the gaps in Discover and either pause for strategy or scope a sprint into the engagement.
Will the design tokens work in our stack?+
Yes — we export to JSON, CSS variables, Liquid, and Klaviyo HTML by default. Other formats (iOS, Android, Storybook) on request.
Do you do packaging?+
We design the system that packaging extends. For physical packaging dielines + production files, we partner with print engineers and quote separately based on SKU count and material complexity.
How many logo rounds do we get?+
We don’t scope by rounds. Discover → 3 directions → 1 selected + refined. Most engagements need 2–3 refinement passes after direction selection. If we’re still iterating after 4, something’s wrong with the brief and we re-open Discover.
What if our existing identity is fine and we just need a system?+
Then it’s a System engagement — same final deliverables minus the logo work. Typically $25,000–$45,000 over 6–8 weeks.
How quickly can we start?+
Refresh engagements typically start within 3 weeks. Full Identity scopes and kicks off within 4–6 weeks of contract.
