Every day we're on a pursuit to help brands with strong morals change the world. We want to help better brands become powerhouses in their industries. At the heart of our company, we are out to change wasteful practices and instead promote companies that do better for our friends and family - these ideals help us get there.

Prioritize the Planet

We do this in several ways. We choose partners that are conscious and have sustainable practices. Patagonia, Deso Supply Co. and Blind Dog Coffee Roasters are just a few partners that practice what they preach and have adopted business practices that prioritize the planet.

Reduce our carbon footprint

Commence Studio is addressing our carbon footprint and helping finance a new biodiversity, wildlife protection, and carbon sequestration project with Native carbon offsets. Together with other businesses and individuals, our offset purchase is helping build the Medford Spring Grassland Conservation project in Bent County, Colorado. So far, we are offsetting 10.67 tons of CO2 over the project's life. This is equivalent to the following; Taking 2.3 passenger vehicles off the road for a year; Preventing 13 acres of mature woodland from being deforested; and Converting 1.9 homes to 100% renewable power for a year. Socially Conscious

The culmination of these values is why we're pursuing our B Corp Certification.

To achieve the B Corp certification, a company must:

  • Demonstrate high social and environmental performance by achieving a B Impact Assessment score of 80 or above and passing risk review.
  • Make a legal commitment by changing their corporate governance structure to be accountable to all stakeholders, not just shareholders, and achieve benefit corporation status if available in their jurisdiction.
  • Exhibit transparency by allowing information about their performance measured against B Lab’s standards to be publicly available on their B Corp profile on B Lab’s website.

Since 2022, we've been pursuing b corp status. We're proud to say that in 2023, we've completed all requirements and are in the review process before certification.
